About The Longing

Play as a lonely Shade, the last servant of a king who once ruled an underground kingdom. The king’s powers have faded and he falls asleep for 400 days to regain his might. It is your duty to stay in the earthen palace until he awakens. As soon as you start, the game inevitably counts down the 400 days – even when you stop playing and exit the game. It is now up to you to decide what to do with your solitary existence beneath the soil. Don’t stress yourself, you have plenty of time.

Instructions

• Click the button below and you will be redirected to Haven.
• Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue ‘ now’ button. We recommend using a manager for faster speeds. (You can use FDM which is free here, or any other manager).
• Once the game is finished ing, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to The Longing v1.0.7.zip” (To do this you will need 7-Zip, which you can get here, or you can use the built in windows extractor).
• Double click inside the The Longing v1.0.7 folder and run the setup application. Accept the EULA, and install the game. Then, launch the game through the desktop shortcut.
